Heat oil, fry onions until they become golden. Take out 1 or 2 tbsp fried onions and keep aside. In same oil, add potatoes and fry for 8 to 10 minutes until potatoes becomes soft. Add Garlic and Ginger paste, fry for 1-2 minutes.

Then add yoghurt, and Biryani masala, Green chillies, fry further for 5-7 minutes. Then add 1-2 cups of water. Cover and cook on low heat until potatoes becomes half tender. Now cook on high heat until oil separates.

Add water 3 glass, salt and boiled, then add soaked Rice, when more than half Rice cooked, low the heat. On top spread the brown onion, fresh mint and coriander. Cover and cook on high heat for 3 minutes, then lower the heat and cook for 15 minutes. It's done, and Ready to serve. Serve with Raita.
