I’m always in search of a good balanced icing recipe, but I love the flavor of cream cheese icing. So I combined two of my favorite recipes my moms cream cheese frosting and a buttercream recipe.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cupsconfectioners sugar
2 tablespoonsvanilla or less to taste
1 stickunsalted butter room temp
I box cream cheese
2tablesspoon half and half

Steps

Cream butter

Add cream cheese and whip until blended

Add vanilla and mix well

Slowly incorporate sugar 1/2 cup at a time,stop when all sugar is blended.

Scrape side and turn mixer to whip to create light texture or leave it as is.

Make sure your cake is completely cool and frost!
