TOASTIE SANDWICH

Steps
- 1
Grind the moong sprouts along with the ginger/ green chillies in a mixie adding little water. Remove and add oats and suji. Season with salt and little jeera and leave aside for 10-15 minutes.
- 2
By this time the mixture will become stiffer by absorbing the liquid. Adjust consistency it should be a bit thicker than idli batter.
- 3
Grease a toastie maker or a grilled sandwich maker and spread the mixture on one side generously. Add the chopped onions.. tomatoes and coriander on top and cover lid and cook on LOW flame for a few minutes.
- 4
Open and cover with batter completely and again cover and now reverse the toastie maker to cook from the other side.
- 5
Remember all the cooking has to be done on LOW flame only as everything is raw and needs to be cooked. Flip sides off and in. Patience is the key here to get a perfect toastie
- 6
Once the toastie is nice and golden remove and serve with chutney of your choice.
I served with coriander coconut/ mint and gun powder - 7
Serve hot with chutney of your choice and a hot cup of tea
