Ingredients

15 hour
4 serving
  • 2 cupsrice soaked overnight
  • 1 cupurad dal soaked overnight
  • 1/2 cupGreen chutney
  • 3/4 tspEno fruit salt
  • to tasteSalt
  • For tadka-
  • 1 tbspmustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 5-6Curry leaves
  • 3-4chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbsp oil

Steps

  1. 1

    First add rice and urad dal in mixture jar, grind it and make a paste, add water and make dhokla batter, Add fruit salt and salt, mix it well, ferment it for 5-6 hours. Divide this batter into 2 equal portion heat the steamer and grease the dhokla plate, pour half batter into dhokla plate, and Cover this pot and let the gas cook for 5 minutes after heating it, spread coriander chutney and pour half batter, cover the pot and cook for 15 minutes, turn off the gas.

    Cut sandwich dhokla into pieces.
    For tadka -Add oil in pan add mustard seeds, curry leaves, Green chilli and sesame seeds, add dhokla pieces and mix it, sandwich dhokla is ready to be served.
