Steps

Cut the onion into rings and fry until brown. Peel n fry the potatoes until tender

Take a saucer. Put oil in it and place on medium heat. Add in the garlic and the bay leaves.

Chop the tomatoes into small cubes. Add them in when garlic is slightly fried

Add the tomato paste and the spices. Add 1 cup water, mix and let it cook for 3 minutes

Add in the prawns. Mix well. Let this cook for 3 minutes

Now add in 1 cup water, 3/4 of the fried onion and the fried potatoes. Add in chopped coriander and mix.

After 2 minutes, put the garam masala. Cover and remove from heat. Your biryani masala is ready

For the rice. Soak the rice in water for 15 minutes after cleaning

Boil the water with salt.

Now add in the rice and let it cook. Keep checking for the rice to be almost cooked but not fully cooked

Now pour out the water and add in it the orange food color. Put some fried onion on it. Cover and simmer on low heat for 3-5 minutes. Ready to serve
