Tamilnadu special Lemon Rice, Rice cooked with tangy lemon juice and spices.
Steps

Heat ghee in a pan or cooker.

Add elaichi and then soaked and drained basmati rice.

Fry for half minute and then add water.

Cook it semi done or in pressure cooker 1 whistle.

Heat oil in pan.

Fry some cashews and keep aside.

Splatter mustard seeds in oil.

Put chopped onion and saute.

Add dry red chillies and ginger.

Add washed chana dal and cook on high flame till starts brown.

Add peanuts.

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt.

Add cooked rice and mix well.

Add lemon juice and mix.

Cook on high flame for 2 or 3 minutes.

Garnish with fried cashews and coriander leaves.
