Ingredients

  • 500 gmschicken
  • 4 tbspoil
  • 4 tbspyogurt
  • 2 tbspcream
  • 4 pcsgreen chillies
  • 1 tspginger paste
  • 1 tspgarlic paste
  • 1 bunchfresh coriander
  • 1medium onion paste
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1/2 tspchaat masala powder
  • 1/2 tspkasuri methi
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper powder
  • 1 tsplemon juice

    Make a fine paste of onion, green chillies, coriander. Marinate the chicken with the paste, 1 tbsp oil, yoghurt, cream, ginger garlic paste, salt, garam.masala powder, chaat masala, and lemon juice... let it rest for at least 2 hrs.

    Heat 3 tbsp oil in a frying pan, add chicken pieces one by one (not the gravy) and fry it on high flame. Flip the chicken and cook on the other side as well till nice and golden. Once the chicken is fried, add the gravy of the chicken and lower the flame and cover lid. Let the chicken cook properly for 10 mins. After that the gravy wl be dry. Put off the flame

    Place a small foil cup in the centre of the pan and keep a burning coal in the foil cup. Pou 1tsp ghee on top of the hot coal... cover lid for 10 mins. Let it get smoked.

    Garnish the chicken with chopped coriander and serve with hot roti or rice.
