Clean the fish & cut them as shown

Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, when onions turn translucent add ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli, turmeric, cumin, coriander, panch phoran powder & small amount of water & stir till the raw smell of spices is not gone

Then add the fish pieces & give a slight stir so that the fish pieces mix properly within the spices. When the fish is half cooked, add potatoes, tomatoes, raw banana slices, 1/4 cup water & cover & cook

When the vegetables & fish are cooked & boiled well & there is a rise of oil in the curry, add chopped coriander & remove the pan from heat sauce. And your Barbel Fish curry is ready to serve!
