First of all take all the ingredients in room temperature. Then put the butter in a big bowl and beat it well till it becomes pale yellow in colour.

Then add confectioners sugar,spice powder and vanilla extract in it and again beat it till it becomes fluffy.

Then mix it with your hand to make a dough.

Cover the dough and keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

After that divide the dough into 4 equal parts and roll it. Then cut them with the help of a cookie cutter. Cut the top cookie with small cookie cutter to make a window.

Place the two cookie one above the other and filled them with jelly or jam.

Preheat the the pressure cooker and place all the cookies in the idli stand and then keep it in the cooker. Cover the lid without weighing the whistle in low flame

After 15 minutes the cookie become ready and the bottom of the cookies become light brown in colour.

Switch off the flame and keep it in the cooker for another 5 minutes.

After cooling down sprinkle some confectioners sugar above the cookies and serve.
