Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgChicken
  • 1/4 cupOil
  • Onions 2 medium (thinly sliced)
  • Ginger garlic pste 2 Tbsp (fresh)
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspDashi chicken powder
  • 2 tspDhania powder
  • 1/4 tspHaldi
  • Tomatoes 2 big (thinly sliced)
  • 3 TbspYogurt
  • 2-3Green chillies
  • Corriendar for garnish
  • Water as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Lighly brown onions (no dark brown please). Add chicken and ginger garlic paste and bhoonofy properly till the raw smell of g/g completely gone and chicken changes it's colour.

  2. 2

    Now add all spices and tomatoes and bhonofy again till oil separates. By this time ur tomatoes must be cooked and turned into paste and well mixed in the gravy. Now add yogurt and mix again.

  3. 3

    Now add water as per ur liking (consistency of salan). When water start boiling turns the flame to simmer and add green chillies and let the chicken cook completely.

  4. 4

    And here is the yummiest chicken salan ready. Sprinkle hara dhania on top while serving and enjoy with rotis aur rice🥰😍
