Ingredients

For Prawns:
1/2 kgprawns
1/2 tbspgarlic paste
juice of a lemon
1 tspchilli flakes
to tastesalt
For Batter:
1 cupflour
1 cupcorn flour
1 tspsalt
2 tspbaking powder
2eggs
Ice chilled water

Steps

Marinate the prawns for 2 hours or more.

In a large bowl add all the ingredients for the batter. Using ice cold water mix it into a thick not so runny mixture.

Hold the tail of each prawn, dip it into the batter and the put in a hot oil wok and fry till golden. Serve with your favourite sauces. Enjoy!
