So this is not your typical meat pie recipe , this one has a twist to it and I got it from #bynt - who is an amazing cook!!!

Start with your filling - in a skillet add your vegetable oil and chopped onions/garlic and stir till caramelized. Add In the minced beef and stir together. Add In the salt/carrots/peas, reduce the heat and allow cook to cook till tender, both the beef and vegetables.Now in a small bowl add the flour for paste and 3 table spoons of water and pour into the filling, stir till completely mixed.set aside to cool.

In a bowl add I your flour/salt/sugar/baking powder/yeast/veg oil and mix together, now gradually add in the water until a soft dough is formed. Place in a lightly greased bowl and set aside for 10 mins.

After that, take your dough and divide into small balls (mine was able to make 8 balls and cut in any shape you want. I had fun with this recipe and I made some amazing shaped meatpies). Now roll out your dough Cut into any shape then add the filling, make sure your meat pies are closed tightly by using water to seal the openings. Place on a baking tray and bake in a 190 degrees F oven for 25 mins. Your meat pie is ready to be served.

You can enjoy them with an homemade pepper sauce or just Ketchup/ranch dressing like I did. Do enjoy and share.!!!
