Gather all your ingredients and grease your baking tins.

In a small bowl mix in milk, yeast and a tbsp of sugar. Cover for ten min or until it froths.

In a large bowl mix in flour, the rest of the sugar and 1 egg.

Add the yeast mixture into the flour mix. Mix until well combined.

Mix in the butter until well combined

Knead the dough for about 10 minutes or until smooth and not sticky.

Divide the dough into 12 equal balls and place in the baking pan.

Cover them and place in a warm area, allowing them to double in size.

Pre heat oven at 180°c.

Beat the other egg in a cup, add a teaspoon of water and mix creating eggwash.

Glaze the top of the risen dough balls with the egg wash.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool in a cooling rack.
