Pound garlic and ginger to a paste, prepare the onion, tomato and egg plant by cutting them into small pieces

Preheat oil, on medium heat fry the onions to golden brown then add in the tomatoes and egg plant, allow them to cook to a thick soup then add in the fish and allow it to boil for 30mins on low heat.

Serve with ugali
