Ingredients

  1. 1pie crust
  2. 3 tablespoonsbutter (40 grams)
  3. 1/3 cupall-purpose flour (40 grams)
  4. 1 1/4 cupsshredded cheese (150 grams)
  5. 1 cupmilk (about 250 ml)
  6. 4eggs
  7. Nutmeg
  8. Salt
  9. Pepper

Steps

    Melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the flour, and mix well. Continue cooking over low heat while gradually adding the milk.

  2. 2

    Add a few pinches of nutmeg, salt, and pepper.

  3. 3

    Remove from heat, then add the cheese and egg yolks one at a time, stirring constantly.

  4. 4

    Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the mixture.

  5. 5

    Unroll the pie crust into a tart pan and pour in the mixture.

  6. 6

    Bake for 30-35 minutes, then enjoy straight from the oven.
