Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1/2 cupGreen peas (boiled)
  • 1 cupOnions (sliced)
  • 1/2 cupCarrot (grated)
  • 1/2 cupCauliflower (grated)
  • 1/2 cupPotato finely chopped
  • 1 cupNutrela chunks (soaked)
  • 1 cupTomato puree
  • as requiredcoriander leaves
  • 1 cupBasmati rice
  • 1/2 tbspCumin seeds
  • 1 tbspCumin powder
  • 1 tbspBiryani Masala
  • as per tasteSalt
  • 2 cupsWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pan and heat oil to it. Add potato and cauliflower to it.

    Saute it for some time.

  3. 3

    Take out the vegetables and add Nutella chunks, capsicum and green peas again saute it for some time.

    Take it out.

  5. 5

    Now heat oil to the pressure cooker and add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cardamom seeds to it. Let it crackle.

    Add tomato puree and cook it for sometime.

    Add sliced onions and fry it for some time until the onions turn to golden brown.

    Add all the saute vegetables to it and fry it for 1-2 minutes.

    Add all the spices to it and mix it well.

    Now once the vegetables are cooked add rice to it and mix it all together.

    Add 2 cups of water to the rice

    Give it 2 whistles.

    Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
