Make slits in onion and keep them aside.now take whole garam masala in a tawa and roast untill the colour is slightly changed.cook and crush into coarse powder.

Grind tomato, garlic,ginger and green chillies in a mixer jar.now take a pan and heat oil in it,add Rai and hing and put tomato paste in it.roast untill it leaves oil.now add powdered masalas (soaked in some water for 10 min.)and roast untill nice aroma comes.off the gas and add curd in it and start the gas again and roast for some more time or until oil is released.finally add water and bring it to a boil.

Now add onions in it and cover with a lid and cook untill onions are properly cooked.garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati or rice.in my home we eat Bajri ka rotla with this yummy subji
