Besan Parantha
This is my mom's recipe. It tastes like kachori.
Steps
- 1
In a bowl mix all ingredients except besan.
- 2
Add oil to cover the ingredients and also so oil does leave water.
- 3
Next add the roasted besan to prepare the filling. The consistency should be like any other filling example alu parantha masala.
- 4
Now, you are ready to make the parantha. Take a small dough and make it like a katori. Fill the besan masala. Cover all edges and make a potli. Flatten softly with hand so the masala spreads across evenly. Flatten with hand to roll into the desire size. Roast on a pre-seasoned tawa using ghee or oil.
- 5
Serve with pickle, dahi, chutney. You can even add finely chopped capsicum or grated cauliflower.
