Brown gravy from scratch
Loved when my grandma would make this.
Steps

Put your vegetable oil (or whatever u use) in a cast iron skillet.. heat the oil add salt and pepper and enough flour to soak up the vegetable oil.. let the flour get as brown as you want ur gravy... add enough water and whisk until as thick as you want... add more salt and pepper to ur taste... serve over biscuits...
