Steps
- 1
Shift flour once to get some air in there. Mix all dry ingredients
- 2
In separate bowl mix all wet ingredients, beat well. Always use ingredients at room temperature.
- 3
Pour dry ingredients to wet ingredients, beat well. It should be a runny batter.
- 4
Set a nonstick stick pan over medium heat. Pour a 1/4 cup of batter at a time. When the pancake begins to have tiny holes releasing wisps of steam it's ready to be turned. Cook the second side for 1-2 minutes. The colour should be slightly brown not too dark. If you leave it for too long on the pan, the milk in the batter will burn and your pancakes will be somewhat dry.
- 5
Place on a ceramic plate and cover with a ceramic plate, this keeps them warm, moist and continues the cooking process.
- 6
Serve with afternoon tea. You can spread some honey or maple syrup. Enjoy
