Ingredients

30-45 mins
10 servings
  • 180 gmsSelf raising
  • 4very ripe bananas
  • Oil 125ml(1/4 cup)
  • 1/2Tspn Baking Powder
  • 1/2Tspn Baking Soda
  • 1/2Tspn Vanilla essence
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • Cinnamon (Optional)

Steps

30-45 mins
  1. 1

    Preheat oven at 180 degrees

  2. 2

    Measure the ingredients and blend/Mash the banana

  3. 3

    In a bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt.Put the blended bananas in a bowl and add oil and vanilla essence

  4. 4

    Fold in the flour mixture into the banana mixture and combine till well incorporated.Do not overmix.

  5. 5

    Pour into a well greased bakin tin and bake for 30- 45 mins.

This recipe is heaven sent. Very moist too. My baby has eczema and is allergic to both milk and eggs. Atleast now I can bake and enjoy cake as he is still breastfeeding. Thank you.
