Preheat the oven to 200c.

Put the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, sugar and 3/4 cup of the chocolate chips into a large bowl. Mix all dry ingredients evenly

Get another bowl put in milk, vegetable oil, egg and vanilla extract. Whisk all wet ingredients together.

Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients mix to combine, spoon into the prepared muffin cases.

Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chip on top and then bake for 20min or until the muffins are dark, risen and springy.
