Shrimp saute with curry leaves

Ingredients

  1. 30-40medium sized shrimp, deveined and peeeled
  2. 1onion, chopped finely
  3. 25-30fresh curry leaves
  4. 1 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  6. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  7. 2-3Green chillies (optional)
  8. 1 tspcayanne pepper
  9. 2 tbsptomato paste
  10. 1/2lemon

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate shrimp with ginger-garlic pasta, salt, cayanne pepper and set aside for 15-20 mins

    Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a saute pan

  3. 3

    Saute onion and green chillies in the oil for 4-5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add turmeric, little salt, curry leaves and coriander powder

  5. 5

    Saute for 3-4 mins

  6. 6

    Add in the marinated shrimp and saute until the shrimp lose the pinkness

  7. 7

    Finally add in the tomato paste and lemon juice and mix it up all well.

  8. 8

    Cook for 3-4 mins

  9. 9

    Serve hot with steamed rice if just as a side
