Stage One baby food: steam vegetables till soft, add breastmilk, formula or water, puree till smooth, spoon feed. Keeps 5 days in fridge. Feed breastmilk or formula before and after the solid. Introduce a new vegetable every three days in addition to the earlier ones. Total solids serving 4 ounces, half a cup.

Stage One baby cereals: buy premix or liquify cooked salmon, scrambled egg, add breastmilk or formula, bottle feed. Total solids serving 4 ounces, half a cup.

Finger foods: make small pieces that cannot choke your baby: well steamed, total 4 ounces, half a cup.
