Ingredients

approx. 30 mins
2-3 servings
  • 5-6Beans, chopped
  • 1large sized Onion, minced
  • 3-4garlic cloves, roughly chopped
  • 2Carrot, finely chopped
  • 3-4Cauliflower florets, finely chopped
  • 3Potatoes, boiled
  • 1Capsicum, finely chopped
  • 2Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1/2Lemon, fresh juice
  • 1-2 tspKasuri Methi
  • 1-2 tbspCoriander powder
  • 1-2 tbspGaram Masala
  • 1 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspKitchen king masala
  • 2-4 tbspVegetable oil
  • 1-2paneer cubes, grated
  • 2-3 tbspPav Bhaji powder
  • 1-2 tbspGhee
  • 1 tspblack pepper powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water
  • 1 tbspcumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsphing/ asafoetida
  • 2paneer/cottage cheese cubes

Steps

approx. 30 mins
  1. 1

    Heat 2 tbsp of oil on medium low flame. Add cumin seeds, hung/asafoetida and chopped onions. Then add chopped garlic and 1/2 tsp of salt.

    Then add all the veggies and salt. Stir well and cook them for 1-2 mins. Add turmeric, coriander, red chilli, black pepper powder, kitchen king and garam masala. Mix everything well.

    Add some water and mix well. Let them cook on medium low flame.

    Start mashing the mixture. After mashing the veggies, add mashed potatoes.

    You can also add some water (if required). Again mash everything very well (not too fast). Once it's done, add 1 or 2 tsp of ghee in it.

    Your lip smacking Pav bhaji is ready. Garnish it with some grated paneer and salad. Enjoy :))
