Ingredients

Makes 10 servings
  1. 4 cupsall-purpose flour (about 500 grams)
  2. 1 2/3 cupspowdered sugar (about 200 grams)
  3. 1 cupunsalted butter (about 250 grams)
  4. 4egg yolks
  5. 1 tablespoonbaking soda
  6. Juice of 2 oranges
  7. 1 tablespoonorange zest
  8. 2 tablespoonsground cinnamon (about 15 grams)
  9. 1 2/3 cupspowdered sugar (about 200 grams), for dusting

Steps

  1. 1

    Cream the butter with the powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

  2. 2

    Add the egg yolks one at a time, then mix in the orange zest and orange juice.

  3. 3

    Sift the flour with the baking soda and add to the mixture, stirring until a smooth dough forms.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle flour on your work surface, roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick, and cut into shapes.

  5. 5

    Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.

  6. 6

    Dust with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
