Potato snack that is lovely to look at and damn crunchy to the last bite. Yummy and easily made. It can be a super awesome snack idea at tea-time or a quick brunchie too with your favourite soup. Made easily with just a few commonly available staples, this one's a lovely Snacking idea for people of all ages. You can serve these at Iftaar too for everyone to enjoy. The slices should be thin enough so that it becomes easier to wrap around. Even if they are little thick, not to worry, you can still do it but take a little precaution while wrapping and folding, that's it. So get going friends.
Happy Snacking!

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

Peel and slice the potatoes very thinly with a slicer. Rinse them in water once or twice. Pat dry and arrange about 10-12 halved slices in a line overlapping each other. Or else take one slice and fold it as seen in the pics. Wrap one or two slices around it thus shaping it as a rose. In this way you will get one rose each time.

  2. 2

Now starting from one end, fold it until the last slice. Secure each with the help of a toothpick either one or two. Similarly make all roses in the same way. Deep fry them in hot oil on a medium high heat. Sprinkle the spices according to taste. Squeeze some lemon juice.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
