Steps
- 1
I made the chhena, just boil the milk and add vinegar water to curdle the milk.
I get around 250 gm chhena from 2 liter milk.
Strain the chhena and keep some chhena water.
Now add the jaggery to the chhena and mix it well.
Add the baking powder and salt.
By adding little salt in any sweet, it enhances it's sweetness.
Now add ghee, cardamom powder and sooji rava to the chhena mixture and mix it well.
If the mixture is a little dry, add chhena water. - 2
Meanwhile, preheat the oven for 10 min at 230 degrees.
Apply ghee on a cake tin, and pour the chhena mixture on this.
Bake it for 20 to 25 min in baking mode.
The sides are little crust and turn to dark golden colour.
It's done keep on a cooling rack.
Let it cool down a bit demould it carefully.
