At first marinate per boiled potato with turmeric and salt and deep fry them.

Then take another pan and add 3 tablespoons oil. Thereafter add whole garam masala, chopped onion and stir fry until brown. Then add ginger paste, turmeric, chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, salt and sugar one by one and stir it for 1 minute.

Make a mixture of cashew paste and curd with moderate amount of water to make thick paste. Then pour it into the fried masala. Cook it for 10 minutes in medium heat. Stir frequently. Then add fried potatoes.

Cover it to cook in medium heat. Thereafter add garam masala and mix it. Serve it with puri, naan or steamed basmati rice.
