Drain the water from soaked moong dal & grind alone with green chilli & ginger. Add some water & make a consistent batter.

Now to the batter add veggies. It's good to add Beetroot as it gives Great colour.

Add the roughly crushed sesame seeds, fennel and coriander seeds.

Add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala and cumin powder.

Now brush a oil on the pan & add the batter one by one in each opening.

Cook till it turns brown, flip & cook from both sides.

Serve with green chutney. Enjoy this less oil protein packed veggie treat!
