Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 2 CupsOvernight soaked Yellow Moong Dal
  2. 1 eachChopped Veggies( onions, capsicum, green chillies, ginger)
  3. 1Grated Beetroot
  4. 1 carrot
  5. 1 tspchaat masala
  6. 1-2 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1 tspcumin powder
  8. 3-4 spoonoil
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1 tsp Roughly crushed sesame seeds
  11. 1 tsp fennel seeds
  12. 1 tsp Coriander seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Drain the water from soaked moong dal & grind alone with green chilli & ginger. Add some water & make a consistent batter.

  2. 2

    Now to the batter add veggies. It's good to add Beetroot as it gives Great colour.

  3. 3

    Add the roughly crushed sesame seeds, fennel and coriander seeds.

  4. 4

    Add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala and cumin powder.

  5. 5

    Now brush a oil on the pan & add the batter one by one in each opening.

  6. 6

    Cook till it turns brown, flip & cook from both sides.

  7. 7

    Serve with green chutney. Enjoy this less oil protein packed veggie treat!
