Peel the mango.Cut in uneven size.Grind in fine paste without water.

Sieve it.In a pan take mango pulp.Add sugar.Continue stir in medium flame.Do not leave it otherwise it will burn.Cook till little transparent and sticky in 8 to 10 minutes.

Grease 2 plates before making it.Only steel plate.Transfer in equal proportion in plates.

Spread evenly fast.Leave it to dry for 1 or 2 days in sun or under fan.Cover any cotton cloth or net.

After 2 days slowly remove the amawat from plates.Cut in sizes and store for a year or months.Kids favourite aampapdi.
