Ingredients

  1. 300 gwarm water
  2. 5 ginstant dry yeast
  3. 180 gwhole wheat flour
  4. 21 goil
  5. 21 gbutter
  6. 80 gdark molasses
  7. 85 ghoney
  8. 180-240 gbread flour
  9. 7.5 gcocoa
  10. 6 gsalt

Steps

    Mix water, yeast, whole wheat flour, butter, oil, molasses and honey together until smooth.

  2. 2

    Mix dry ingredients together, then gradually incorporate with wet mixture.

  3. 3

    Cover and let rise for 60-90 minutes

  4. 4

    Shape into six smallish loaves, cover and let rise until doubled.

  5. 5

    Bake at 190 degrees Celsius (375F) for at least 20 minutes.

  6. 6

    Once out of the oven, brush tops with butter and sprinkle with oats, if desired. Bake for another 3 to 5 minutes.
