Steps

Wash rice and soak for 15 minutes.

Wash chana dal soak for 30-40 minutes.

Heat ghee in a cooker add cumin seeds, cloves, peppercorns, bayleaf, cinnamon stick, black cardamom fry for a minute.

Add onion sliced fry for a min add ginger+garlic paste saute for few minutes. Add all spices mix well. Now add half boiled peas, chana dal and rice..add 3 cup water, salt mix well, after 3-4 whistle flame off..kabuli rice is ready for Serve.

Serve hot with Raita or chutney.
