Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add raisins and cashew nuts and sauté till golden. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Add poha to the same pan and sauté for two to three minutes. Add milk and cook, stirring continuously, till the pressed rice is cooked and the mixture thickens.

Add sugar, mix well and cook till sugar dissolves completely.

Add cardamom powder, fried raisins and cashew nuts and mix well.

Serve warm kheer is ready.
