Ingredients

  • 2.2 poundschicken breast or thighs, sliced into strips (1 kilogram)
  • 1 cupplain yogurt (240 ml)
  • 1/4 cupvegetable oil (60 ml)
  • 2 tablespoonsvinegar (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoonpomegranate molasses (15 ml)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonssoy sauce (22 ml)
  • 1 tablespoontomato paste (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoonminced garlic (15 ml)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoonmixed spices:
  • Black pepper
  • Ginger
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Turmeric
  • Cardamom
  • Dried herbs

    Prepare the chicken pieces.

    Mix the liquid ingredients together.

    Combine the liquid mixture and spices, add the chicken pieces, and refrigerate for 3 hours.
