Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.Boil the milk
Add makhana and roast on medium heat until become little crispy. - 2
Dip makahanas in warm milk for about 15 minutes.Then blend them into a coarse paste.

Heat the remaining milk in the pan and add the makahanas paste.Mix well and keep stirring.Chop the nuts finely.
Simmer the heat and let the kheer cook for 30-40 minutes. - 4
Add almonds, cashew nuts, walnuts, and cook until kheer thickens.
Add sugar and cardamom powder and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add saffron threads and cook for 2-3 minutes. - 5
Serve the kheer hot or chilled.Very healthy and yummy 😋
