Posto or poppy seeds paste is a very famous in West Bengal. It can be eaten in many forms cooked with potatoes, onion, cauliflower etc, raw paste with mustard oil salt, green chiles and onion. This is lauke ke patte which is a form of saag which is very tasty to it. It is a very simple dish with very minimum ingredients. Enjoyed with steamed rice

First, make the poppy seed paste with half of the green chiles. Add mustard oil, salt and remaining slit green chiles Now take the leaves wash it. Pat it dry. Now take two leaves. Place the paste in the middle. Fold it. Add a tooth peak so that it doesn't open. The amount of mustard oil should be enough at least 3 tbsp.

Now take a tight steel container with cover. Put the thing in it. Put the cover. In a khadi add water. Place the steel container. Cover the khadi so that the steam doesn't comes out. Cook it for 15-20 min in low flame. Before serving add some mustard oil. Smash the whole thing with hands. Serve it with hot steamed rice.
