Slow-Cooked Pig’s Feet (Crock Pot)
Steps
- 1
First, boil the pig’s feet over high heat for 10 minutes to clean them thoroughly. Place them in the Crock Pot.
- 2
Make a sofrito by sautéing the tomatoes, onion, garlic, and green pepper. Once well cooked, add the wine and bay leaf, and let it boil to cook off the alcohol. Add the flour and cook for a few minutes. Add half a cup of water (about 120 ml), let it boil for a couple of minutes, then pour everything into the Crock Pot.
- 3
Cook on low for 8 hours. Remove the meat and set aside. Take out the bay leaf and blend the sauce until smooth.
- 4
Pour the sauce over the pig’s feet and enjoy!
