Ugali toast

I remember having this for breakfast when I was much younger. Our mother would slice the Ugali left from the previous night dinner, toast it with margarine on a pan and that was breakfast before school. Full of energy and filling. Very healthy especially if the flour used is unsifted and is made from whole maize. #stayathome

  1. 1

    Slice ugali

  2. 2

Pour 1 tbsp of oil on medium high heat. I used coconut oil for added flavor.

Cook on both sides for 2-3 min till a crunchy crust forms.

  4. 4

Serve with tea. I love green tea, and added avocado for a more balanced meal.
