Peel the bánh tét and cut it into even slices so they cook evenly.

Preheat the air fryer. Lightly brush oil on the basket to prevent sticking and make it easier to remove the bánh tét. When frying, brush a thin layer of oil on the slices to make them crispier.

First batch: 10 minutes at 356°F (180°C). Second batch: 5 minutes at 374°F (190°C). You can fry 5 slices at a time, so do 2 batches to finish the whole roll.
