Ingredients

15 minutes
4 people
  1. For filling 1 tbsp ghee
  2. 1/2 cupcashew
  3. 1/2 cupfried onion chopped
  4. 1 tspfennel seeds crushed
  5. 2green chilli chopped
  6. 1/4 cupcoriander leaves chopped
  7. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. 1/2 tsproasted jeera powder
  10. 2 tbsphung curd
  11. For dahi kebab - 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
  12. 1/2 tspblack pepper crushed
  13. to tasteSalt
  14. 2 cuphung curd
  15. 1/4 cuproasted gramflour
  16. For coating - 2 cup bread crumbs
  17. 1/2 cuppoha crushed
  18. Oil for shallow fry

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    For filling - In a pan add ghee cashewnut, roast till golden brown in colour. Chopped and keep aside.

    In a bowl add roasted cashewnut, fried onion, fennel seeds,chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, salt to taste, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, mix it well.

    Add hung curd, mix it well, keep aside.

  4. 4

    For dahi kebab - In a bowl add fresh bread crumbs, salt to taste,roasted gram our, black pepper powder, mix well.

  5. 5

    Take a small portion of dahi kebab & stuff the filling. Seal it properly to make a round ball.

  6. 6

    Coat it with Brad crumb mixture. Make the rest of it with remaining filling as same.

  7. 7

    Keep in the freeze for 5 minutes so that it holds it's shape.

  8. 8

    Heat oil in a kadai, fry the dahi kebab on medium heat till nice golden in colour and crisp from all the sides.

  9. 9

    Remove on an absorbent paper to remove an excess amount of oil.

  10. 10

    Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney
