  1. 500 mlmilk
  2. 1lemon
  3. 2cardamom
  4. 1 cupsugar
  5. 1 tspmaida/all-purpose flour

    Boil the milk properly, and take it out from gas.

  2. 2

    Now add equal quantity of water and lemon juice, for 500ml milk 4spn lemon juice and 4 spn water is enough to curdle.

    Mix the lemon and water solution to the milk intermitently and keep stiring.

  4. 4

    Once your cottage cheese is out, sieve it with the help of a cotton cloth.Dont squeeze it hard.

    Wash the cottage cheese with cold water twice or thrice to get rid of the lemon smell.

  6. 6

    Then keep aside.

  7. 7

    For preparing sugar syrup, Add sugar and water in 1:4 ratio and crush the cardamom, put it on the syrup.

    Boil it till the sugar dissolves.Keep the flame low.

  9. 9

    Then knead the cottage cheese and 1spn maida or rava with the help of palm.Dont press too hard.

  10. 10

    A soft malai dough should come out from the mixture.

  11. 11

    Make lemon size balls from the dough.You will be able to get 8-9 small balls.

    Now drop the balls in sugar syrup and make the flame high.

  13. 13

    Cover it and leave it to boil for 10-15 mins.After 6-7 minuts add some lukewarm water to keep the syrup consistency thin.

    After 15 minutes the balls will become double in size.Then it's ready to serve.

    Serve it hot or you can keep it in freeze to taste them chilled.
