My favorite soup on a rainy day or when sick with cough and cold. You get al the strength you need from this healthy soup when recovering from surgery and post partum. It's specially given to growing children and feeding moms. Serves as an immunity booster and absolutely delicious.
Steps

Keep all ingredients ready. Wash mutton once and set aside. Heat oil in a pressure cooker add the whole spices.

Next add the crushed garlic and fennel, curry leaves and green chillies. Saute for a minute. Add onions and saute till translucent.

Add the washed mutton rib bones and turmeric powder. Mix well. Add 1 tbspn each of mint and coriander leaves.

Then add the spice powders and mix well.

Add tomatoes and 3 cups water (750ml) and rock salt.

Pressure cook on low to medium flame for 5-6 whistles so that the juices from the bones are released into the soup. Allow steam to escape and open lid. Add 1 cup more water and boil.

Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
