Clean onion and thinly slice them. Mix all the flours and baking powder in a bowl. If you don't want to use plain flour and corn flour, you can use rice flour and besan in the same quantity. You can skip baking powder but it gives good results.

Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, carom seeds and coriander leaves to sliced onions and leave it for 5 minutes. Now add flours to it. Mix everything well. Sprinkle only 1 or 2 tablespoons of water and mix well don't make it wet so that you can get crispy pakoda.

Fry onion pakoda in very hot oil Until golden brown. Serve hot with fried chillies and chutney of your choice.
