Ribs:

Brown Short Ribs in on all sides 1 tablespoons of oil

Sweat onions, celery, carrots with remaining oil in a dutch oven(or equivlant).

Add garlic and cook until litghtly browned

Deglaze with stout then add parsley

Cover and cook in 325 degree oven for 3 hours

Bbq Sauce:

Sweat onions and thyme sprigs in veg oil

Deglaze with water and vinger

Add ketchup, molassas, and burbon simmer until thick

Salt and white pepper to taste

Use stick blender until smooth.

Remove ribs from oven drain braiseing liquid, coat with bbq sauce and serve.
