Moong dal idli is very easy to preapre and healthy to eat. It's a good substitute for those who doesn't love Urad dal idli.

Moong dal idli is very easy to preapre and healthy to eat. It's a good substitute for those who doesn't love Urad dal idli.

In a bowl soak moong dal and rice for 8 hours.

After 8 hrs make a smooth paste using little water. Don't make watery consistency. Thick consistency needed.

Now cover and keep it for 2 to 3 hours.

After 3 hrs add salt, 1 pouch eno and water if required and mix it.

Now take an idli maker and a steamer. Add water in a steamer and let it boil on the other side grease oil in idli maker and add batter.

And steam it for 10 to 15 mins on medium flame.

After 10 to 15 mins take it out and let it cool down and do the same with the remaining batter.

It's ready to serve. Serve hot with chutney or sambar. It's all your choice.
