These are homemade style seekh kababs made on pan we can bake and bbq also. Very tasty and flavour full. We can also make some other dishes from them like Karahi kabab, kabab masala, paratha rolls, biryani etc.
It's served best with paratha, puri or naan.

Ingredients

30_40 mins
5_6 servings
  • 1/2 kgor 500 gms beef mince (qeema)
  • 1 tspred crushed chillies
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper crushed
  • 2 tspsalt
  • 1 tspwhite cummin (zeera) crushed
  • 2 tbspcoriander crushed coarsely
  • 1 tbspcornflour
  • 1 tspbaking powder
  • 2 slicesbread with out edges
  • 1 tspseekh kabab masala (optional)
  • 2 tspginger garlic paste thick
  • 1onion very finely chopped and drained (no water)
  • 2 tbspfresh chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • 2_3tbsp milk to soak bread.
  • 2 tbspoil for Merinate
  • 1/4 cupoil for frying

Steps

    Mix all ingredients in the qeema (mince meat)

  2. 2

    Remove bread edges and soak in milk and drain them and mash them with hands and mix in qeema.

  3. 3

    Now put the qeema in food processor and blend for few sec till everything is mixed well.

  4. 4

    Keep covered for an hour.

  5. 5

    Make a small patty and fry in little oil till cooked and taste it to check the seasonings. If something is less add it before making shape.

    Wet hands with oil

    Make the kababs of long slinder shape by using a thick skewer or a straw (drinking one)

    Make all kababs

  9. 9

    Heat a pan with 2tbsp oil and when hot enough put kababs on it.

  10. 10

    Dont over load keep space.

  11. 11

    Don't turn until firm and brown from one side. Then turn and low heat

  12. 12

    When cooked well take them out, They take few mins.

  13. 13

    Don't over cook.

  14. 14

    Heat some coal to red hot and give smoke to the ready kababs by putting coal on a foil or on onion ring put oil or ghee and cover them. Remove the coal after few secs.

    Cook all kababs

    Serve hot with green chutney, imli chutney, puri paratha or naan.
