Ingredients

  1. 1.5 lbschuck roast
  2. 1.5 lbspotatoes peeled and cubed 1/2 inch
  3. 2carrots peeled and cubed
  4. 1onion diced
  5. 4 clovesgarlic
  6. 2 tbsptomato paste
  7. 2 tbspbetter than bouillion
  8. 2 tspWorcester sauce
  9. 1/2 tspsalt
  10. 1/4 tsppepper
  11. 4 sprigsfresh thyme
  12. 2bay leaf
  13. 6 cupsbeef broth
  14. 2/3 cupbarley
  15. Option - mushrooms or other vegetables
  16. oil of choice

Cooking Instructions

45 minutes prep
  1. 1

    Brown beef cubes in oil 1-2 minutes per side on med-high heat

  2. 2

    Add beef and all ingredients to slow cooker and cook for 4-5 hours

  3. 3

    Fill liquid to the top or check if more is require later.
