Ingredients

  • 5-6roties/chapati
  • 1/2 cupboiled Sweet Corn and seeds peeled out
  • 1Onion finely Chopped
  • 1-2Green Chilies chopped
  • 2 tsp fresh Coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/2 spoonFennel seeds powder (Saunf)
  • 1/2 spoonCumin seeds powder (Jeera powder)
  • pinchhing / asafoetida
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspCumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/4 tspGaram Masala
  • 2 tspraw Wheat flour for binding
  • as neededOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a Pan and add 2-3 tablespoon oil.

  2. 2

    Once the oil heats up add Cumin seeds and let it change it's color to brown.

  3. 3

    Add onion to the oil and Saute it to turn light pink.

  4. 4

    Now add corn to it and continue to Saute on high flame.

  5. 5

    Once the water evaporates and it gets saute well add Cumin seeds powder, Fennel seeds powder (saunf), red chilli powder, hing, garam masala and salt.

  6. 6

    Mix it well and mix until all spices get mixed and get absorbed in corn.
    Finally turn off the flame and let it cool down

  7. 7

    Preparing Samosa

    Mix 2-3 spoon water to raw wheat flour and make it a paste which will be used to stick samosa

  9. 9

    Cut the roti in two pcs and remove the side round curve to get exact shape of Samosa Patti.

  10. 10

    Fill 1 spoon of stuffing and fold the patti to get triangle shape of Samosa.

  11. 11

    Now keep a Pan add 2 big spoon of oil and Shallow fry the samosa both the side on high flame. Serve it hot with green chili.
